It's old and not the most powerful rig I own by any means, but the tiny footprint and versality of turning into a proper tablet as well as a full functioning laptop (with one of the best keyboards I've used, I might add), the awesome battery life (still!!!!), passive (i.e. (Actually the speaker quality is rubbish - VERY quiet and no bass, but that's always been the case). I uninstalled the Conexant HD Audio driver (without rebooting afterwards) as a precaution prior to installing the offered 20H2 update, as I'd read that is a workaround. The lift was removed 4 days ago, without a new driver being installed first. 2004/20H2 were blocked due to safeguard hold 25178825 - issues with Conexant ISST audio drivers. It did not even make it to the list of machines HP tested for compatibility with Win 2004. HP no longer provides any updates for this machine as it is over 3yrs old - last update was a BIOS & MEI firmware in Dec 2019. You should hear the Windows theme play when you logon with your password.It is an HP Spectre x2 12-a004tu. Not sure if Cortana lets you do that since I disabled mine. I just typed it into the Win10 search box. If you don't know how to get to msconfig.exe, there are a variety of instructions on the internet.
